Activity of IT Cell & Procurement Division

1. Development & Maintenance of IT Infrastructure in CEA.
2. Implementation of various IT related facilities in CEA like Video Conferencing, NIC mails, e-Office, etc.
3. Design, Development and Maintenance of CEA Website & CEA Intranet.
4. Operation and Maintenance of Information Management System (IMS) in CEA.
5. Implementation and Monitoring of National Power Data Management System (NPDMS) for creating a common Data Hub for various Power Sector agencies in India, e.g. MoP, CEA, PFC, REC etc.
6. Development and O & M of various application software in CEA.
7. Management of the portal for Digitization of various clearances being given by CEA.
8. Works related to implementation of IT related policies made by GoI including transition to IPv6, Preference to domestically manufactured electronic products, email policy etc.
9. Co-ordination of GeM related activities.
