CEA-JCOAL Co-operation - Brief Description

On the occasion of the fourth ministerial-level meeting of the Energy Dialogue on 30.04.2010, an MOU between Central Electricity Authority (CEA) and Japan Coal Energy Centre (JCOAL) for Pre-Primary Study for Efficiency and Environment Improvement of Coal Fired Power Plants was signed. Subsequently, two MoUs between CEA and JCOAL were signed for carrying out detail diagnostic study for energy efficiency oriented Renovation and Modernization (R&M) activities in thermal power units and Efficiency & Environmental Improvement for Sustainable, Stable & Low-Carbon Supply of Electricity.
