Subject: Draft Report on Optimal Generation Capacity Mix
for the year 2029-30.
Optimal generation capacity
mix is a study primarily aimed at finding out the least cost optimal generation
capacity mix, which may be required to meet the peak electricity demand and
electrical energy requirement of the year 2029-30 projected as per 19th
Electric Power Survey.
In this regard, all
stakeholders in Power Sector are requested that views/suggestions/comments (if
any) on above draft report may kindly be sent to CEA by 31.07.2019 so
that same could be appropriately considered while finalizing the report.
